Lubric D Eye Drop 0.1%+0.3% is a sterile ophthalmic preparation formulated to provide lubrication and relief from dry eye symptoms. Containing Dextran 70 (0.1%) and Hypromellose (0.3%), it restores moisture to the ocular surface, reduces irritation, and protects against damage caused by tear film instability. It is suitable for patients experiencing dry eyes, ocular irritation, or discomfort due to environmental factors, contact lenses, or aging.

Ocular Lubricants / Artificial Tears
Lubric D Eye Drop combines Dextran, a hydrophilic polymer that stabilizes the tear film and maintains hydration, with Hypromellose, a viscous cellulose derivative that adheres to the ocular surface, providing prolonged lubrication. Together, they:
Increase tear film stability
Reduce friction between the eyelid and corneal surface
Protect corneal and conjunctival epithelial cells
Relieve burning, itching, and irritation associated with dry eye syndrome
These agents do not alter normal ocular physiology and are minimally absorbed systemically, making them safe for long-term use.
Lubric D Eye Drop is indicated for:
Relief of dry eye symptoms (sandy, gritty, or burning sensation)
Ocular irritation due to environmental factors such as wind, smoke, or low humidity
Post-surgical or post-procedural ocular dryness
Contact lens discomfort due to mild dryness
Protection of the ocular surface in patients with tear film instability
Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed, typically 3–6 times daily.
Can be used before and after contact lens wear to alleviate dryness and discomfort.
Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination.
If using other ophthalmic medications, maintain a 5–10 minute interval between drops.
No significant systemic drug interactions are known due to minimal systemic absorption. Lubric D Eye Drop can be safely used alongside other ophthalmic medications, provided a separation of 5–10 minutes between applications.
Known hypersensitivity to Dextran, Hypromellose, or any other ingredient in the formulation.
Temporary blurred vision
Mild stinging or burning upon instillation
Rare allergic reactions (redness, itching, or swelling)
For ophthalmic use only
Avoid contamination of the dropper tip
Discontinue use if eye irritation or hypersensitivity develops
Use with caution in patients with pre-existing ocular infections
Lubric D Eye Drop restores ocular surface moisture through physical lubrication and tear film stabilization. Dextran hydrates the corneal epithelium, while Hypromellose forms a protective layer that reduces friction and promotes healing of dry or irritated ocular tissues. This combination improves patient comfort, protects the cornea, and prevents further epithelial damage.
Safe for use during pregnancy and lactation as systemic absorption is negligible.
Store at 15–30°C
Protect from light and contamination
Keep out of reach of children
Discard 28 days after opening.
