Glycopyrrolate is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist that inhibits the action of acetylcholine at M₃ receptors in the airway smooth muscle. This prevents bronchoconstriction and reduces mucus secretion, contributing to prolonged bronchodilation.

Budesonide is a potent inhaled corticosteroid with strong local anti-inflammatory activity. It suppresses inflammatory cell infiltration, cytokine release, and airway edema, thereby reducing airway hyperresponsiveness and the frequency of exacerbations.

The combined action of these three agents provides superior control of airflow limitation, reduces exacerbation risk, and improves lung function compared to single or dual therapy.

Indications

Tribrez Inhaler is indicated for:

• Maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Management of moderate to severe COPD patients who require triple inhaler therapy

• Reduction of COPD exacerbations in patients with a history of frequent flare-ups

This inhaler is not intended for the relief of acute bronchospasm.

Dosage & Administration

• The usual recommended dose is one actuation twice daily, or as prescribed by a physician.

• The inhaler should be used regularly for optimal benefit.

• Patients should be instructed on proper inhalation technique to ensure effective drug delivery to the lungs.

• After inhalation, rinsing the mouth with water is recommended to reduce the risk of oral corticosteroid-related side effects.

Dosage adjustments should be made based on clinical response and physician guidance.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to Formoterol, Glycopyrrolate, Budesonide, or any component of the formulation

• Primary treatment of acute asthma attacks or status asthmaticus

Side Effects

Tribrez Inhaler is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects may include:

• Headache and dizziness

• Dry mouth or throat irritation

• Cough or hoarseness

• Palpitations or tremor

• Oral candidiasis with prolonged use

Most adverse effects are mild to moderate and decrease with continued use.

Precautions & Warnings

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, or urinary retention
