Obeticholic Acid helps regulate bile acid synthesis and transport in the liver. By reducing excess bile acid accumulation and improving bile flow, it lowers liver inflammation and may help slow disease progression.

The 10 mg strength is generally used in patients who have tolerated the initial 5 mg dose and require further improvement in liver biochemical parameters, as determined by their physician.

Indications
