Indications

Pharmacology / Mode of Action

Ethyl butylacetylaminopropionate (IR3535) is a synthetic insect repellent that works by interfering with the insects’ ability to recognize human skin as a target. When applied to the skin, it creates a protective layer that repels insects without killing them. Since Nomos 12.5% has no insecticidal action, it does not exert selection pressure and therefore does not contribute to the development of insect resistance.

IR3535 is a colorless and almost odorless oil, making Nomos 12.5% pleasant and comfortable to use. It demonstrates broad-spectrum efficacy against mosquitoes, ticks, lice, and other insects. Additionally, it is biodegradable and rapidly breaks down in the environment, making it environmentally friendly.

Dosage & Administration

• Apply Nomos 12.5% Cream liberally to exposed areas of the skin
