Neugalin Capsule 150 mg contains Pregabalin, a proven antiepileptic and neuromodulatory medication used for the treatment of neuropathic pain, partial-onset seizures, and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Pregabalin works by binding to specific calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters. This action helps calm overactive nerves, thereby decreasing pain signals, stabilizing electrical activity in the brain, and relieving anxiety symptoms.
The 150 mg strength is commonly prescribed for patients who require a moderate to higher therapeutic dose to achieve optimal symptom control. It is often used after gradual dose titration from lower strengths such as 25 mg, 50 mg, or 75 mg. Neugalin 150 mg helps improve quality of life by reducing chronic nerve pain, enhancing sleep quality, and minimizing anxiety-related disturbances.
