Indications

Nafgal Cream 2% is indicated for the treatment of:

• Tinea corporis (ringworm of the body)
• Tinea cruris (jock itch)
• Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
• Cutaneous fungal infections caused by dermatophytes
• Superficial skin infections due to fungi

Mechanism of Action

Naftifine Hydrochloride belongs to the allylamine class of antifungal agents. It works by inhibiting the enzyme squalene epoxidase, which is essential for the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption leads to fungal cell death and prevents the growth and spread of infection.

Dosage and Administration

• Apply a thin layer of Nafgal Cream to the affected area once or twice daily, as prescribed by a physician
• Clean and dry the affected area before application
