Calcium Orotate combines calcium with orotic acid, which enhances cellular uptake of calcium, particularly in bone tissue. Orotic acid facilitates the transport of calcium through cell membranes, supporting bone mineralization and healthy cartilage maintenance. Additionally, orotate plays a role in DNA and RNA synthesis, supporting overall cellular function. Its high bioavailability allows efficient absorption and utilization compared to other calcium salts.
