Mechanism of Action

Indications

Deferox Tablet 250 mg is indicated for:

• Chronic iron overload due to repeated blood transfusions
• Thalassemia major requiring regular transfusions
• Sickle cell disease with transfusion-related iron accumulation
• Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) with iron overload
• Other chronic anemias requiring frequent transfusions

Dosage and Administration
