Moxifloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication. It blocks the action of two essential enzymes—DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV—which are required for bacterial DNA repair, replication, and transcription. This leads to rapid bacterial cell death and effective resolution of infection.

Zydus Tablet is generally used in adult patients with moderate to severe infections where broad-spectrum antibacterial coverage is required.

How It Works
