Indications:
Valena 0.01% 16 gm is indicated for the short-term treatment of:

Pharmacology:

Dosage & Administration:

Oral:

• Menopausal vasomotor symptoms: 1–2 mg/day (cyclical or continuous)

• Prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis: 0.5 mg/day (cyclical)

• Hypogonadism: 1–2 mg/day (cyclical)

Vaginal:

• Vulvular and vaginal atrophy: 2–4 g/day for 2 weeks; maintenance: 1 g, 1–3 times/week

• Postmenopausal urogenital symptoms: Insert vaginal ring for 90 days

• Atrophic vaginitis: 1 tablet/day for 2 weeks; maintenance: 1 tablet twice weekly
