Composition

Each gram contains:

• Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%

Indications

Synovate Ointment is indicated for:

• Severe psoriasis (non-infectious)
• Eczema and atopic dermatitis (resistant cases)
• Lichen planus
• Chronic dermatitis with inflammation and itching
• Allergic skin conditions unresponsive to milder steroids
• Other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses (as advised by physician)

Mechanism of Action

Clobetasol Propionate is a high-potency corticosteroid that works by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators in the skin. It reduces immune cell activity, decreases swelling, and suppresses redness and itching. This leads to rapid relief of inflammatory skin symptoms.

Dosage & Administration

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily or as prescribed
• Use only on affected skin areas
• Do not cover with airtight dressings unless directed by a physician
• Avoid prolonged use
