Roxicef Capsule is commonly prescribed for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis

• Bone and joint infections (in some cases, under medical supervision)

Mechanism of Action

Cephradine belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. By blocking the formation of the cell wall, the bacteria become weak and eventually rupture, leading to their destruction.
