Indications

Preclot AS Tablet is indicated for:

• Prevention of myocardial infarction (heart attack)
• Prevention of ischemic stroke

Mechanism of Action

• Clopidogrel inhibits the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets, preventing platelet activation and aggregation.
• Aspirin irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), reducing thromboxane A2 formation, a key mediator of platelet aggregation.

Together, they provide dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT), significantly reducing the risk of arterial clot formation.
