Indications

Pegalin Capsule is indicated for:

• Neuropathic pain (diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia)
• Fibromyalgia
• Adjunct therapy in partial seizures (epilepsy)

Mechanism of Action

Pregabalin binds to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This reduces the release of excitatory neurotransmitters such as glutamate, norepinephrine, and substance P, leading to decreased nerve excitability and relief from neuropathic pain and anxiety symptoms.

Dosage and Administration
