Peak effect is usually achieved within 5 to 15 minutes, making it suitable for emergency management. It is metabolized in the liver and excreted primarily via the kidneys. The elimination half-life ranges from 5 to 8 hours.

Indications

Labegest Injection 50 mg/10 ml is indicated for:

• Management of severe hypertension and hypertensive emergencies

• Perioperative hypertension

• Hypertension in pregnancy, particularly in cases of pre-eclampsia or eclampsia, where rapid blood pressure control is necessary

Dosage and Administration

Adults:
