Intasone Cream 1% contains Hydrocortisone Acetate, a mild topical corticosteroid used to relieve inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling associated with a variety of dermatological conditions. It is designed for external use and is suitable for short-term management of inflammatory skin disorders that respond to corticosteroid therapy. Due to its low potency, Intasone Cream 1% is commonly prescribed for sensitive skin areas when used under medical supervision.

Hydrocortisone Acetate is a synthetic ester of hydrocortisone formulated for topical use. It acts by suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and cytokines. By inhibiting capillary dilation, reducing vascular permeability, and suppressing immune cell activity in the skin, it effectively reduces erythema, edema, and pruritus.
Topical application of Hydrocortisone Acetate provides localized anti-inflammatory effects with minimal systemic absorption when used as directed. This makes Intasone Cream 1% suitable for short-term use in mild to moderate inflammatory skin conditions.
Apply a thin layer of Intasone Cream 1% to the affected area 1–2 times daily or as directed by a physician.
Gently rub in until absorbed.
Treatment duration should be limited to the shortest effective period.
Avoid prolonged use, especially on the face, groin, or axillae, unless advised by a healthcare professional.
For pediatric patients, use only under medical supervision and avoid occlusive dressings.
