Etorac Injection 60 mg/2 ml contains Ketorolac Tromethamine, a powerful non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. It provides strong analgesic efficacy comparable to opioid analgesics, but without the risks of respiratory depression or dependence. Etorac Injection is commonly used in hospital and clinical settings for rapid pain control, particularly in postoperative and acute traumatic conditions.

Etorac Injection 60 mg/2 ml is indicated for the short-term treatment of:
Moderate to severe acute pain
Postoperative pain management
Pain following orthopedic or surgical procedures
Renal colic
Acute musculoskeletal pain
Pain associated with trauma or injury
Therapy should be limited to the shortest duration possible, generally not exceeding 5 days, due to the risk of serious adverse effects.
Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)
Ketorolac Tromethamine produces its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes. This inhibition reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins, which play a central role in pain, inflammation, and fever. Ketorolac has minimal sedative properties and does not interact with opioid receptors, making it an effective non-opioid alternative for severe pain control. The injectable formulation allows for rapid onset of action, providing effective relief in acute clinical situations.
Etorac Injection may be administered via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) routes.
Recommended Adult Dosage:
