Composition

• Active Ingredient: Econazole Nitrate 1% w/w

Indications

Ecoren Cream is indicated for:

• Tinea infections (ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch)
• Candidiasis of the skin
• Other superficial fungal infections caused by susceptible fungi

Mechanism of Action

• Econazole Nitrate inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane
• Disruption of the cell membrane leads to fungal cell death
• Reduces fungal growth, inflammation, and associated symptoms such as itching and redness

Dosage and Administration

• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area 1–2 times daily, or as prescribed by a physician
• Gently rub into the skin until fully absorbed
• Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
• Wash hands thoroughly after application
