Disys Plus Tablet 80 mg + 12.5 mg is a fixed-dose combination medicine containing Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. It is used for the management of Hypertension (high blood pressure), especially in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by a single medication.
Valsartan belongs to the class of angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), while Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill). Together, they provide a complementary mechanism to effectively lower blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular risk.

Indications
Disys Plus Tablet is indicated for:
-
Treatment of hypertension
-
Patients requiring combination therapy for better blood pressure control
-
Reduction of risk of complications associated with high blood pressure such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage
How It Works
This combination works through two different but complementary mechanisms:
-
Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to narrow. By relaxing blood vessels, it lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
-
Hydrochlorothiazide increases the elimination of excess salt and water through urine, reducing fluid volume in the body and further lowering blood pressure.
Together, they provide more effective blood pressure control than either drug alone.
