Vasolax Tablet 400 mg contains Pentoxifylline 400 mg, a hemorheologic agent used to improve blood flow in patients with impaired circulation. It is primarily prescribed for the management of peripheral vascular diseases, particularly conditions associated with reduced blood flow to the limbs. By improving the flexibility of red blood cells and reducing blood viscosity, Vasolax Tablet enhances microcirculation and oxygen delivery to tissues, helping relieve symptoms caused by poor circulation.
Pentoxifylline is especially beneficial in patients suffering from intermittent claudication, a condition characterized by pain, cramping, or weakness in the legs during walking due to insufficient blood supply. Regular use of Vasolax Tablet can improve walking distance, reduce pain, and enhance overall mobility and quality of life.

Vasolax Tablet 400 mg is indicated for the treatment of:
Peripheral arterial disease
Intermittent claudication associated with chronic occlusive arterial disease
Circulatory disorders due to impaired blood flow
Conditions where improvement of microcirculation is required
Hemorheologic agent
Peripheral vasodilator
Pentoxifylline is a methylxanthine derivative that acts by improving blood rheology. It increases the deformability of red blood cells, reduces platelet aggregation, and decreases blood viscosity. These effects lead to enhanced blood flow through narrowed or obstructed blood vessels. Pentoxifylline also improves tissue oxygenation and reduces inflammation at the microvascular level. Unlike direct vasodilators, it does not significantly alter blood pressure, making it suitable for long-term use in patients with vascular disorders.
