Indications

Progut MUPS Tablet is indicated for:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Mechanism of Action

Esomeprazole is the S-isomer of omeprazole and works by selectively and irreversibly inhibiting the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells. The MUPS technology consists of multiple enteric-coated pellets that protect the drug from gastric acid degradation and allow controlled release in the intestine, ensuring more consistent and effective acid suppression.

Dosage and Administration
