Palotic Injection contains Palonosetron, a second-generation serotonin (5-HT3) receptor antagonist used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting. It is particularly effective in managing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) and post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV). Due to its long half-life, it provides prolonged antiemetic protection with a single dose.

Mechanism of Action
Palonosetron selectively blocks serotonin (5-HT3) receptors located in the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract.
