Indications

Moxibac Eye Drop 0.50% is indicated for:

• Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Corneal ulcers caused by susceptible bacteria
• Blepharitis associated with bacterial infection
• Prevention and treatment of post-operative ocular infections

Mechanism of Action

Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by:

• Inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV
• Preventing bacterial DNA replication and repair
• Leading to rapid bacterial cell death
• Providing broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and atypical organisms

Dosage and Administration

• Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) as directed by a physician
