Olopatadine Hydrochloride in Lopadine Max 0.7% works by:
Inhibiting the release of histamine from mast cells
Acting as a selective H1 receptor antagonist, blocking histamine-induced allergic responses
Reducing ocular itching, redness, and swelling associated with type 1 hypersensitivity reactions
Olopatadine is highly selective and does not affect alpha-adrenergic, dopamine, or muscarinic receptors. Following topical ocular administration, systemic exposure is low, minimizing systemic side effects.
Lopadine Max 0.7% is indicated for:
Ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis
Relief of redness, tearing, and irritation caused by seasonal or perennial allergies
