IntraCal 400 mg contains Calcium Orotate, a highly bioavailable calcium supplement used to prevent and treat calcium deficiency in the body. Calcium Orotate combines calcium with orotic acid, which enhances the transport and absorption of calcium into cells, particularly in bone tissue. It supports bone health, cartilage maintenance, cardiovascular efficiency, cognitive function, and overall metabolic processes.
IntraCal 400 mg is suitable for individuals with low calcium levels, bone loss conditions, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), pregnant or nursing women, and those recovering from orthopedic surgeries.

Calcium Orotate is a calcium salt of orotic acid. Orotic acid acts as a carrier, facilitating calcium transport through cellular membranes, which allows for higher intracellular calcium uptake, especially in bones and cartilage. Additionally, orotic acid participates in DNA and RNA synthesis, supporting cellular growth and repair. This formulation ensures calcium is efficiently absorbed and utilized by the body, enhancing bone density and overall musculoskeletal health.
Calcium Orotate 400 mg: 2–3 tablets daily with meals, or as directed by a physician
Calcium Orotate 740 mg: 1–2 tablets daily with meals, or as directed by a physician
The tablets should be taken with food to improve absorption and minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.
Calcium may reduce absorption of: bisphosphonates, quinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, levothyroxine, phenytoin, and tiludronate disodium
Thiazide diuretics may increase the risk of hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria when taken with calcium supplements
Do not use IntraCal 400 mg in patients with:
Kidney stones or kidney disease
Hyperparathyroidism
