Frilinta Tablet contains Ticagrelor 90 mg, an oral antiplatelet medicine used to prevent blood clots in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and other cardiovascular conditions. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death by preventing platelets from sticking together and forming clots in blood vessels.

Ticagrelor provides rapid and reversible platelet inhibition and is commonly used alongside low-dose aspirin under cardiology supervision.

Therapeutic Uses

Frilinta Tablet is indicated for:

• Prevention of recurrent heart attack
• Prevention of stroke and cardiovascular events in high-risk patients
• Post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) therapy
• Long-term secondary prevention of atherothrombotic events

Mechanism of Action

Ticagrelor works by inhibiting platelet activation:

• Blocks P2Y12 ADP receptors on platelets
• Prevents ADP-mediated platelet aggregation

• Reduces formation of arterial blood clots
