Indications

Freescab Suspension 0.9% w/w is indicated for:

• Scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei infestation)
• Head lice (Pediculus humanus capitis)
• Body lice infestations (as advised by physician)
• Parasitic skin infestations causing itching and irritation

Mechanism of Action

Spinosad acts by:

• Binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in insects and mites
• Causing hyperexcitation of the nervous system
• Leading to paralysis and death of parasites
