Therapeutic Uses

Flexibac Tablet 5 mg is indicated for:

• Muscle spasticity in multiple sclerosis
• Spinal cord injury-related spasticity
• Cerebral palsy (spastic type)
• Stroke-related muscle stiffness and rigidity
• Neurological disorders causing muscle spasms
• Mild to moderate muscle spasticity (as prescribed)

Mechanism of Action

Baclofen works by acting on the central nervous system:

• Activates GABA-B receptors in the spinal cord
• Inhibits excitatory neurotransmitter release
• Reduces transmission of nerve impulses causing muscle contraction
