Filgrast Injection contains Filgrastim 300 mcg/0.5 ml, a recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). It is used to stimulate the production of neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) in patients with neutropenia. This helps strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of infections, especially in patients undergoing chemotherapy or bone marrow suppression.

Filgrastim is administered by subcutaneous or intravenous injection under medical supervision.

Therapeutic Uses

Filgrast Injection is indicated for:

• Chemotherapy-induced neutropenia

• Mobilization of peripheral blood stem cells for collection

Mechanism of Action
