Therapeutic Uses

Fap Tablet 500 mg is indicated for:

• Fever (pyrexia)
• Headache and migraine (mild to moderate)
• Toothache
• Muscular pain and body ache
• Back pain
• Cold and flu-related fever and discomfort
• Post-vaccination fever
• Mild pain associated with infections or inflammation

Mechanism of Action

Paracetamol works primarily in the central nervous system:

• Acts on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center to reduce fever
• Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the brain
• Reduces pain perception
• Provides analgesic and antipyretic effects without significant anti-inflammatory action

Dosage & Administration

• Usual dose: 500 mg every 4–6 hours as needed
