Etorac MDT Tablet 10 mg contains Ketorolac Tromethamine, a potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated as a mouth-dissolving tablet (MDT) for rapid onset of action. It is indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain where fast relief is required. The MDT formulation allows quick disintegration in the mouth without the need for water, making it especially convenient for patients who have difficulty swallowing conventional tablets.

Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)
Etorac MDT Tablet 10 mg is indicated for the short-term treatment of:
Moderate to severe acute pain
Postoperative pain
Acute musculoskeletal pain
Dental pain
Pain following minor surgical or diagnostic procedures
The total duration of therapy should not exceed 5 days, due to the increased risk of adverse effects with prolonged use.
Ketorolac Tromethamine produces its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, resulting in reduced synthesis of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are key mediators of pain, inflammation, and fever. By suppressing their production, Etorac MDT Tablet provides effective pain relief without sedative or addictive properties.
Ketorolac offers analgesic efficacy comparable to opioid analgesics but does not cause respiratory depression or dependence, making it a valuable non-opioid option for acute pain control.
