Dinovo Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of Naproxen Sodium (500 mg) and Esomeprazole Magnesium (20 mg), designed to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation while reducing the risk of gastrointestinal complications associated with long-term nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) therapy. This dual-action formulation makes Dinovo Tablet particularly suitable for patients who require sustained pain management and are at risk of gastric irritation or ulcers.

Each tablet contains:
Naproxen Sodium 500 mg
Esomeprazole Magnesium 20 mg
Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug (NSAID)
Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI)
Naproxen Sodium is an NSAID that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, swelling, and fever. It provides potent and long-lasting analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, making it effective in a wide range of musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.
Esomeprazole Magnesium is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells. By reducing stomach acid production, esomeprazole helps protect the gastric mucosa and lowers the risk of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers, erosions, and dyspepsia.
The combination ensures effective pain control while maintaining gastrointestinal safety, especially during prolonged therapy.
Dinovo Tablet is indicated for the treatment of:
Osteoarthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Ankylosing spondylitis
Chronic musculoskeletal pain
Acute pain and inflammatory conditions
Patients requiring NSAID therapy with a risk of gastric ulceration
The usual recommended dose is one tablet once daily or as prescribed by a physician.
The tablet should be swallowed whole with water and should not be crushed or chewed.
It is preferably taken before meals to ensure optimal acid suppression.
Dosage and duration of treatment should be individualized based on patient response and clinical condition.
Dinovo Tablet is contraindicated in patients with:
Known hypersensitivity to naproxen, esomeprazole, or other NSAIDs
Active gastrointestinal bleeding or peptic ulcer disease
Severe hepatic or renal impairment
History of NSAID-induced asthma
Pregnancy, especially during the third trimester
Prolonged use of NSAIDs may increase the risk of cardiovascular events; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Caution is advised in elderly patients and those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders.
Renal and liver function should be monitored during long-term therapy.
Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs unless advised by a physician.
