Composition

Each film-coated tablet contains:

• Dapoxetine Hydrochloride 30 mg

Mechanism of Action

Dapoxetine works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin in the central nervous system. Increased serotonin activity at pre- and post-synaptic receptors enhances ejaculatory control by delaying the ejaculatory reflex. Due to its rapid onset and short half-life, it is suitable for on-demand use rather than continuous daily therapy.

Indications

Dapotin Tablet 30 mg is indicated for:

• Treatment of premature ejaculation in adult men aged 18–64 years
• Improvement of control over ejaculation
• Increase in time to ejaculation during sexual activity
• Reduction of distress related to early ejaculation

Dosage and Administration

• Taken orally, 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity
• Should be swallowed whole with water
• May be taken with or without food
• Recommended starting dose is 30 mg; may be increased to 60 mg based on response and tolerability
• Not intended for continuous daily use
• Maximum dosing frequency should not exceed one dose per 24 hours

Contraindications

Dapotin Tablet should not be used in:
