Indications

Acicort Ophthalmic Solution 0.10% is indicated for:

• Treatment of ocular inflammation due to allergies
• Inflammation following eye surgery or injury
• Uveitis and iritis
• Other steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the eye

It is intended for short-term use under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.

Mechanism of Action

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that works by suppressing inflammatory mediators in ocular tissues. It inhibits the release of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, reducing swelling, redness, itching, and discomfort associated with inflammation. Dosage and Administration
