Indications
Linestranol and
ethinyl estradiol is a combined contraceptive pill indicated as an oral contraceptive.

Dosage &
Administration
You should take the
pill as directed, at the same time every day as possible. Start taking the pill
on the first day of your period. You can start taking the pill any day within
2-5 days of your period, but in that case, you should use a condom for the
first seven days of taking the pill in the first month. Take 1 pill every day
for 22 consecutive days. After a 6-day pill-free period, start taking the pill
from the next new pack.
You will have your period within these 6 days, which can sometimes last until
the next pack starts. Even if you are still having your period, start the next
pack of this pill on the seventh day. You will continue taking the pill in this
manner until you want to have children.

Interaction
Some medications such as ampicillin,
tetracycline, barbiturates, hydantoins, primidone, carbamazepine, and
rifampicin can reduce the effectiveness of the pill. If you need to take any
other medications while taking the pill, be sure to consult your doctor.Contraindications
In cases where you
cannot use combined contraceptives:
Venous thrombosis is present or has been
present in the past
Cardiovascular accident and myocardial
infarction or previous symptoms of the disease
Diabetes mellitus with vascular symptoms
Severe hypertension
Severe dyslipoproteinemia
Congenital or other predisposition to venous
or arterial thrombosis
Known or suspected malignant conditions of
the genital organs, breast or liver
Severe liver disease, including a history of
failure of liver function to return to normal
Unexplained vaginal bleeding
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
of this pill
Side Effects
In the initial stages, some people may
experience temporary side effects such as headaches, dizziness, nausea, or
light spotting during the pill. But if you take the pill regularly, all these
symptoms will naturally disappear within two to three months. There is no
reason to worry too much about these symptoms. However, if the side effects
continue for a longer period, you should definitely consult a doctor.
Pregnancy &
Lactation
You cannot use combined contraceptives if you
are pregnant or suspect you are pregnant.
Precautions &
Warnings
If the pill is missed
at the specified time and if it is not more than 12 hours, the effectiveness of
the pill is maintained. In this case, take the pill as soon as you remember and
take the next pills at the correct time.
If more than 12 hours have passed, the effectiveness of the pill is reduced.
Then you need to follow the following rules. Remember that if you forget to
take the pill on any day in the 1st and 3rd weeks, special precautions are

If you miss more than
one pill in a pack, you should definitely consult your doctor. If you forget to
take a pill in a pack and your period does not come on the first pill-free day,
you may be pregnant. Consult your doctor before starting the next pack.
Caution:
Other physical
conditions that may cause circulatory problems, but are not related to the use
of combined contraceptives, require caution. For example, diabetes mellitus,
systemic lupus erythematosus, hemolytic uremic syndrome, chronic inflammation
of the abdominal cavity, etc. Caution is also required in all these cases.
Frequent migraines, tumors, long-term problems with liver function also require
caution. Women who are breastfeeding also need caution because combined
contraceptive pills can change the quantity and quality of breast milk. Women
who are diabetic need to be careful while using combined contraceptives,
especially when they start eating. Women who have a history of chloasma
gravidarum should avoid direct sunlight.
If combined
contraceptive pill users experience the following unwanted problems, such as
breast tenderness, headaches, migraines, discomfort with contact lenses,
various skin problems, edema, changes in body weight, etc., consult a doctor.
